In addition to his career as a bassist, Jerome has spent many years working as an audio engineer. It all started with those first bands. He was usually the member responsible for putting together and running (from the stage while playing) the band's PA as well as assembling equipment for home recording sessions.

This led to the formation of his first business in 1999, Stage 1 Productions. Located in Kent WA, his sound reinforcement company provided sound for local bands, booking agents and a local casino.

A move in 2005 landed Jerome in sunny California, seeing him settle in the north San Francisco Bay area. Here he has continued his dual career in the music business.

For two years Jerome worked as the head sound engineer for a local municipal performing arts center. This was a full production stage with two theaters and he operated the facility's sound systems and assisted with lighting and set building. Live music covered a wide variety of styles and ranged from local groups to acts such as Tuck & Patty, Robben Ford, and Boz Skaggs. Professional theater and dance productions featured modern, jazz and ballet and included such classics as The Nutcracker, Les Miserables, and Disney's Aladdin and occasionally included live orchestra.

Also during this time, Jerome worked as a driver and technician for an event and production company based in San Francisco. They provided services for clients such as Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach, the San Francisco Marathon, the Oakland Raiders (their official Parking Lot Tailgate Party), and major corporate events which would sometimes include well known acts such as Huey Lewis & the News and Melissa Etheridge.

As a front of house mix engineer, Jerome has operated three and four way systems up to 6200 watts and mixed live for crowds of up to 1,000 people.

At present Jerome is remodeling and upgrading his home production and mix studio.
